Scale Models, Toys & Games For Christmas are a big thing, we send out many toys over the gift giving season and we know we help bring lots of smiles come Christmas time.
Last year what with all the covid and lockdowns, we had wanted to donate some toys to children having a rough time of it, but due to restrictions it was not aloud. So with covid all but normal, 2021 Christmas was the time.
On the last working day of the year for us, Mr & Mrs VW Bobblehead helped us load up several clear sacks full of toys and scale models, small and large toys, cars to keyrings to those cool foam model planes and more. A boot and back seat full and enough for all the children at the local hospital.
Even some RC models and those cool little Volkswagen toys, just for the little ones.
Some were to also be given to the much loved, hardworking and short on time nurses and doctors! After a quick chat and picture of the smiling and happy to receive nurses, we left them to dish them out.
Giving back has always been important to us, we give out gifts with most orders! and this year brought a very special warm feeling doing a nice deed. We plan to do this again but for more hospitals.
