Includes our stage 2 map for Golf MK3 VR6 (below picture shows the map/chip installed into a socket, see other listing for our ecu socketing service. Our socket reworks are now done by Stealth Racing, best in the tuning business and a partner we can truly rely on, leave us to handle the messages and the support as we know the VR6 just as well and we leave them to do the works in peace which helps keep workloads running smoother, feel welcome to message at anytime. If and when the time comes for dyno/turbo, we can assist in getting that done, getting your VR on the dyno, from parts to mapping, between us and Stealth Racing, we have you covered from every angle!)

Developed for use with the stock Golf VR6 engine, this is our original stage 2 map, live mapped off our own VR6 and tweaked over and over until it gave perfect results, until it made us grin.
To suit standard NA VR6 2.8 Engine, with upgraded air intake otherwise standard bar performance leads and well looked after
All our maps have originally been developed on a rolling road though this one started life via a live mapping session, and is now used further as a base map.
This map will add more power at lower rpm and an overall increase in throttle power, you will feel the difference, no more bogging down in lower gears, no more dropping to 2nd gear at roundabouts, or having to drop a peg to get power, you’ll have greatly increased power throughout the rpm range. With this map installed the VR6 just wants to go and go with no stopping, more smiles per mile are guaranteed. There is only 1 step above our stage2 map and that’s a turbo map, turbo needed. Save all the costs that a turbo carries and stage 2 it first, you may find you no longer need to go turbo route to get the enjoyment needed or it may be a good stop gap.
Included is the map/chip and a 12 month warranty for hardware failure for the chip only but due to the nature of the product, We cannot extend this warranty to cover any engine internals or your ecu itself.

VW Parts International accept no liability for damage to engine internals, electrical components etc, either resulting from use or during the installation. If you are unsure of any procedures, research or ask before carrying out any works, even so much as unplugging the ecu requires due care and attention to avoid issues later.

Please note this is a map/chip for the ecu. You will not receive an ecu. Only a map/chip, you’re ecu will likely require a socket, please enquire before purchase. you must send your ecu for rework if you require a socket. (see other listing)
