Enjoy the holidays 2019

A very busy 2019 has flown by, where has the time gone? All we know is it’s been shipment after shipment of parts to all corners of the globe, non stop all year, little breaks for the team, but we love helping you to build that dream and live the dream.

We are pleased to finish the year on another high. 1000s of fellow Volkswagen owners have been helped with parts to help restore and maintain road worthiness as well as upgrade performance on the newer models.

What a year it’s been and as we approach 2k20 we are excited and looking forward to what the future holds, to helping more customers complete their dream cars. As always our goal is as the motto we adopt. ‘Future Requires Tradition’.

It’s been a brilliant year for the MK3 with more parts back in production, 100s of parts unearthed from Volkswagen warehouses, we are now at the level with MK3 parts that you could almost rebuild from scratch, an incredible achievement and one we’re as proud as you must be when we see all the MK3s around and looking their best, and 2k20 has more potential, the penultimate of it’s back to glory state is yet to arrive though the market for restored and modified is stronger than ever and the future is bright.

At the other end of the scale Model wise, the MK7 has seen too, an incredible year of Performance parts released time and time again from the likes of Milltek Sport and Scorpion Exhausts giving that raspy more grumbly sound and performance everyone craves through to  Forge Motorsport with Induction kits and engine bay parts, Big Brake Kits and all the heavy hitting upgrades.

With the MK8 taking orders at main dealers and already appearing, we are looking forward to continued developments from our performance parts partners in 2k20, our roots will always be MK3 and OEM but for us it’s now at that young classic level and a daily of a new car, MK5 MK6 or MK7 with performance in mind actually helps keep the now much older MK3s undercover, we did so with the MK4 R32 and that too is now getting the TLC after daily use.

We have that love for the MK4 R32 as many of you will know, but again in deep restoration, many parts are following through the ranks with Volkswagen Official reproductions (oh how sweet an achievement is that for VWPI) New carpet mats of original OEM quality, re made by Volkswagen’s original manufacturer. That’s 1 special part of 2019 that ensures our commitment to the R32 and so many owners, us included, will treasure those new R carpet mats, it was done for MK3 OEM fenders and again for the R32.

If you demand these things, we and as we refer the Wolfsburg Gods, do listen and do make these things happen.

So many great moments of success like that, trivial to some but each one a mission in itself for us and many of you, another milestone in saving these great cars, we all want the finishing touches as well as the key repair parts.

Part of all of our success and tradition. Not forgetting to mention everyone else involved, everyone at Volkswagen that we have pestered, even begged (well must seem so to them) on some occasions, the Original manufacturers having to dig out patterns, moulds and taking a time warp back in time having to evaluate what we claim and take a risk alike, we love it and want more, we know you do to.
