First sight, the box has NOS dust, magic parts dust! More magic dust from the paper, the steering wheel was dusted off gently with a new clean dusting brush, noted some white fuzz on the metal back, common on metal over time. Will need a delicate clean alike.
When opened for the first time for checking/picturing, we noted a blue plastic ring, strange, perhaps a part of an identification id at the factory, which has been wrongly left on and caused some indentation to the leather. In addition a light mark on the lower edge likely where it was resting inside against the box.
Although this is marked, this is actually a mark of time, from the time it was made to the time it’ll be enjoyed, it’ll fall out a little, blend in with a clean and nourish and with time and wear will be enjoyed! we do not consider it a major fault, just a minor blemish that NOS parts can have, it’s own birth mark. btw this is human written by us at VWPI, no AI can check, inspect and comment on parts with accuracy like we do, even other humans before us miss the bits we spot ;) !
